UAE Releases New 500 Dirham Banknote
The UAE Central Bank has issued a new 500-dirham polymer banknote with designs that reflect the UAE’s leadership in sustainability, featuring the Museum of the Future building on the front.
The new banknote will be put into circulation starting Thursday, November 30, along with all paper and polymer banknotes currently in circulation. 500 Dirhams is worth about US$136.
